About Dr. Rick
Dr. Richard A. Rampi — “Dr. Rick” to his patients — joined Venetian Pointe Dentistry in 2021, but he's been part of this practice his whole life. He grew up watching his father, Dr. Richard C. Rampi, build it. That gives him something most young dentists don't have: a deep understanding of what it means to be a trusted part of someone's healthcare over the long term.
Before dentistry, Dr. Rick took an unconventional path. He earned a bachelor's degree in Business and an MBA from the University of Central Florida, then spent time in the business world — handling marketing, customer service, and operations. He received recognition for year-over-year sales growth and developed marketing strategies from scratch. That background changed how he thinks about dentistry. He's organized, communicative, and understands that patients need information to make good decisions — not jargon designed to upsell.
He went on to earn his DMD from the University of Alabama at Birmingham School of Dentistry in 2021, and immediately began building expertise in the areas that most practices send out to specialists. He's completed extensive post-graduate training in immediate implants, bone grafting, implant site rehabilitation, full arch prosthetics, and 3D digital surgical planning using Cone-Beam CT (CBCT) imaging and intraoral scanning.
If you've been told your case is “complicated” — missing multiple teeth, requiring bone grafting, or needing a full arch solution — Dr. Rick is who you want evaluating it. He sees complex cases the way an engineer sees a structural problem: methodically, with a clear plan and the technology to execute it precisely.
Dr. Rick and his wife Dr. Kiara Rampi (also a dentist) have two sons, Ray and Ryan. Outside the office he's into hiking, golf, cooking, and water sports — and is trying to teach his boys all of the above.

What Patients Say About Dr. Rick
Dr. Rick is the most professional and reliable dentist I have ever seen. He really cares about what he does.
I came in with a lot of anxiety over a procedure and Dr. Rick took his time making sure I was comfortable. He suggested I bring my support person and made the whole experience so much easier.
What Dr. Rick Specializes In
Dr. Rick's clinical focus is the complex stuff — cases that most general practices refer out to multiple specialists. Dental implants, bone grafting, full arch reconstruction, and restorative work that restores both function and aesthetics. He uses 3D imaging and digital surgical planning on implant cases, which means more precision, fewer surprises, and better outcomes.
The Full Team
Dr. Rick works alongside his father, Dr. Richard C. Rampi, and Dr. Justin Palmer — together covering general, cosmetic, and advanced implant dentistry. One practice, three excellent dentists.
