Invisalign Orlando | Venetian Pointe Dentistry

Invisalign is a popular procedure that helps patients to achieve a straighter smile without the need for clunky and unsightly metal braces. Venetian Pointe Dentistry in Orlando, Florida helps close gaps between teeth, straighten teeth, and correct teeth crowding all without the need for traditional metal braces.

Invisalign candidacy and benefits

Invisalign is ideal for teen or adult patients that want the same benefits of traditional metal braces in a more subtle solution. Invisalign aligners are not only virtually invisible to others, but are also exceedingly more comfortable due to the thin, smooth, polyurethane plastic used.

Invisalign aligners are removable, practically invisible, and easy to keep clean. You can take out your aligners to eat, brush your teeth, and floss. The benefit of being able to go about your life without cosmetic or functional stresses make Invisalign the best solution for teeth-correcting needs. It is recommended to wear your Invisalign aligners 20-22 hours per day minimum to maximize the results. Some benefits of Invisalign are as follows:

-proven results using SmartTrack material and SmartForce features

-comfortable fit with removable capabilities for easy brushing and eating

-convenient process with limited trips to the office

-confident appearance without the need for metal hardware

Shown above are two cases completed here at Venetian Pointe Dentistry - the first showing the correction of crowded teeth and the other the closure of spaces.  Straight teeth are not only esthetically pleasing, but, for various reasons, also result in better oral health. Invisalign Process?

invisalign profile

The first step in the Invisalign process with Venetian Pointe Dentistry is a consultation. Here your orthodontic needs will be discussed and your candidacy for Invisalign will be established.

Next, we will establish a treatment plan. We will map out a custom plan that will determine the literal path your teeth will make over the course of the treatment. We are even able to show you how the process will go virtually.

Finally, you’ll be given your aligners. We will have your first few sets of aligners available for you, and you will swap your aligners out for new ones every 1-2 weeks. This is in contrast to the normal 6 week interval for metal braces, and is advantageous because it allows your teeth to be moved with less forces. That means less discomfort for you and less strain on your gums and teeth.

Fortunately this doesn’t mean that you will have to go into the office at VP Dentistry every two weeks to get your aligners. We will provide you with 3 or 4 aligners so that you can change them out at home and come in less frequently while still providing safe results.

As time progresses your teeth will continue to adjust and move into their planned spaces. At each checkup we will track the process and make sure everything is going accordingly, with adjustments made as needed. Eventually, in a time period discussed prior during your treatment plan, your smile will be ready and the Invisalign will have done its job.

To protect the progress you’ve made from Invisalign with Venetian Pointe Dentistry, you may want to ask about our Vivera retainers. This retainer utilizes the same custom, state-of-the-art technology as the Invisalign aligners, and can help to ensure that over time your teeth do not revert back to how they were before
